The Process

How we design and deliver quality cabinets

The First Step

Call or send an email to a designer to set up initial design meeting. There is no charge for us to design your kitchen. With confidence we know you will be impressed with the quality of the product, and attention to detail provided by our designers.

1. Initial Meeting

Our goal is to leave this meeting with a complete understanding of what you are looking for in your cabinet needs. We’ll discuss colors, styles and the various options that are available. Before we leave we will measure the space and discuss location of appliances and cabinetry.

2. Kitchen Design

Your kitchen will be designed using the most state of the art CAD software that is available by a trained designer. Normally the designer and the sales person are the same person to avoid any mistakes. It normally takes about a week for the design to be completed and send back for your review.

3. Confirmation

After received your design, call the designer to give feedback and to move the plans along for the project. A deposit will not be required of you at this time. We ask that you commit to using Amish Custom Cabinets as your supplier through a phone call or email. After receiving this commitment we can move to the next stage.

4. Changes
The second meeting and a revised set of drawings are often needed. Sometime these changes can be made over the phone or in larger projects a second meeting is needed.
5. Deposit
A deposit is needed before the designer will do multiple designs. We’ll need 50% of the estimate. This money is sent to the Amish to hold your production spot as we know that you want your cabinets. Final plans have to be sent to the Amish 5 week before the scheduled delivery.
